This workshop is designed to help you improve your interactions with other people in your workplace or at home. This workshop gives learners the opportunity to improve the critical communication skills of listening, asking questions, and being aware of nonverbal messages. This workshop can also help participants who are struggling to find that middle ground between being aggressive and passive, and how to counter the manipulative tactics of difficult people. Participants also learn more about the elements of our communication with others that help us reveal appropriate information about ourselves, and how to get a handle on better managing ourselves for a more professional image.

Audience: Communication skills are needed by all employees but especially by managers, supervisors, and any employee that interacts with internal or external customers. Managers and supervisors spend up to 80% of their day communicating with employees, upper management customers and other vendors. Excellent communication skills are essential to being a great manager. In addition, almost all service problems originate from breakdowns in communication that could be avoided by better communication skills on the part of customer service representatives.
