Email has become one of the most widely used methods of communication, whether for personal or business communications. In most organizations, large or small, email is the preferred form of communicating information among employees. As email grows in popularity and use, most organizations have found the need to implement a corporate mail management system such as Microsoft Outlook to handle the messages and meeting invitations sent among employees.

Learning Objectives:
By the end of this course, you will feel completely comfortable with using and customizing the Outlook interface, creating and sending messages, managing contacts, using the calendar, managing tasks, and working with notes. You will:

- Create email messages, use spell check, format the content, and add attachments
- Customize the reading options and manage message responses
- Use tags and flags to manage your messages
- View, manage, and print your calendar

- Navigate and customize the Outlook interface

This course is intended for those with a basic understanding of Microsoft Windows and need to know how to use Outlook as an email client to manage their email communications, calendar events, contact information, and other communication tasks.

Too much information in one day - instructor had to race through material, skipping some of it entirely. Start delayed by 20 minutes due to course material not having been properly loaded on computers. These issues continued throughout class, ie some of my important menu tabs were in french, others in english. I had requested an English class. Another student had Excel 2007 instead of Excel 2010, when the rest of us and the instructor were working with 2010. I would have liked to continue to 4:00, but the instructor made it clear that her preference was to leave at 3:30, so no one said anything. The windows had to be opened because the room was too warm, but the people next to the windows were wearing their coats because they were too cold.
