The knowledge and skills that students are expected to have before attending this course are:

Basic computer literacy
Basic PC operating system navigation skills
Basic internet usage skills

There are no formal prerequisites for CCT certification, but you should have an understanding of the exam topics before taking the exam.

Gain the foundational knowledge necessary to help support Cisco routers and prepares you for the CCNA-Implementing and Administering Cisco Solutions v1.0 and CCT Routing & Switching certification.

CCNA-Foundations teaches professionals how to support a basic IPv4 and IPv6 Cisco network. You will learn the fundamentals of network components, such as a switches and routers. You will also gain skills with IPv4 subnetting; IPv6 addressing; Wide Area Networking concepts; and basics of managing and accessing Cisco routers and switches.

This course is recommended for those pursuing their Cisco Certified Technician (CCT) certification for Routing & Switching. This course is ideal for those wanting to prepare themselves for the new CCNA course and certification who may be newer to the industry.

The CCT certification is for the entry-level IT professionals, building skills required for onsite support and maintenance of Cisco routers, switches, and operating environments. You can build a foundation for a broad spectrum of IT careers with the CCT.

Target candidates for this course include individuals seeking the CCT R&S – Cisco Certified Technician for Routing & Switching and progressing towards the CCNA – Cisco Certified Network Associate certification. The course is also appropriate for support technicians who are involved in the basic installation, operation, and verification of Cisco networks. Key job roles include entry-level network engineer, network administrator, network support technician, and help desk technician.

Cancellation Policy

We require 16 calendar days notice to reschedule or cancel any registration. Failure to provide the required notification will result in 100% charge of the course. If a student does not attend a scheduled course without prior notification it will result in full forfeiture of the funds and no reschedule will be allowed. Within the required notification period, only student substitutions will be permitted. Reschedules are permitted at anytime with 16 or more calendar days notice. Enrollments must be rescheduled within six months of the cancel date or funds on account will be forfeited.
