I would never take another course that starts at 11AM and goes to 9PM again. The way the course was laid out really took away from the capturing of what was presented as it was 5-6 hours of watching a screen before getting to the actual labs. There has to be a better way to lay out this particular course. In my previous course, the lectures were broken up by labs which worked out fantastic and kept you engaged in the course. There were days when in order to actually complete the labs, would go over the 9PM day end time frame. Was able to get the primary labs done, but if you want to get all the content completed, you cannot complete it in the window of this course, you will need to come back on your own time.

Wasn’t as advanced as I thought it would be. There was an issue when the day my course was the first time they used a new platform.. from adobe to something called zoom; I had to call support line cause it stated our instructor wasn’t present. Thankfully I called cause everyone online was in the adobe virtual classroom waiting for what looked like a teacher who didn’t show up for class (IT didn’t get anything resolved until 10mins after start time). I felt like he was really getting hung up on very basic knowledge for the first half of the course (talking about how to create tabs and drag formulas as an example). I completed files a few times before he was done explaining. There was a scheduled fire drill for them (roughly 30mins)that also cut into our time, which wasn’t deducted from the hour lunch break or the two, fifteen min breaks. I also really wish he touched base more on the automating workbook functions portion which we barely did. I'm happy there were/are those study guides (learning videos) and exams to take on my own time that I hope after I've had the class are still available for me to learn from.

Everything was great, but the instructor wasted a lot of time talking about unrelated subjects (like demo-ing different programs, talking about other classes, and talks about how Excel/technology has changed) took up way too much time. The course could have been condensed or better focus would have been great

the second day of training the labs/internet/something didn't work, we did not get trained on the course content. The instructor did provide alternative learning, and witty conversion. But I only received 50% of my training!

Course did not include a printed workbook which made it very difficult to take any notes. A bit discouraging b/c the other participants all had experience with previous versions of MS Project, not exactly intro level. Topics moved along very quickly; I always felt like I was struggling to keep up, and I don't know how much I'll remember when I need to use the course content myself later. Also, the course was rescheduled a couple times to get a sufficient number of participants and an instructor.

Labs were not accessible at noon on the second day of the 3 day course. A workaround was created, however, it took 1/2 a day which put us way behind schedule. The instructor experienced audio problems on the second and third day and was unable to fix them. It was very difficult to follow him and I did not learn very much as a result.

Have a hard copy of the Project training manual would be beneficial to make notes as we were learning. We struggled the first day with connecting issues for those participating remotely from a GK facility (each time an activity was performed the one group lost connectivity. The instructor would have to wait until they reconnected to proceed - very time consuming). I feel this did impede learning; however the instructor handled it very well!

I have taken GK courses in the past and this one lived up to my expectations. I will continue to recommend GK for training purposes.

This was a lot of information to absorb in such a short time. The training provider was great, my only recommendation was to shorten the amount of time spent on personal experiences. It's hard to take in all the additional and sometimes unnecessary information, when we already have a lot to learn in such a short timeframe.

Direction about food not provided; first day 1 hour late because instructor couldn't log into the course presentation material; coffee machines broken; coffee cups unavailable on second day afternoon; instructor rather gruff and short-tempered; couldn't access course materials using Safari and tech support kept telling me there was nothing wrong (which there was). Had to use another browser; location of course very challenging to get parking for (and parking very expensive). Queen/Yonge not easily accessible; pricing and calls from Global Knowledge out of sync

The sound for the training session is bad... the teacher was cutting very often and the class students was not eared properly... beside this all good
