Google Docs/Drive Essentials is a 6-hour workshop that is split in two 3-hour sessions: Part A & Part B

Google Docs/Drive is unlike anything you have used before. Google Docs/Drive is an online storage tool allowing shared access to files and folders from any computer, for any number of users. It is also a document editor that has documents, spreadsheets and presentations. These documents can be converted back and forth with MS Office document formats. Google Docs/Drive also has an offline component, Google Drive, which gives you access to all your documents within a folder on any computer you use.

If you are wondering what's the point of Google Docs?, ask yourself these questions. Do you collaborate on documents with other people via email attachment or uploading/downloading to a network drive? Have you ever considered how much time and effort is wasted in this process? How do you keep track of which is the most recent version? How do you accommodate more than one person wanting to edit the document at once? Google Docs/Drive solves this problem by having one online version of the document for everyone, while at the same time tracking all previous revisions of the document if recovery is needed. Now you can have the whole team editing a document simultaneously without any confusion, lost time or lost data.

Our graphic designers will train you in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Acrobat, Lightroom, and Visual Design. If you need training for your digital camera, we’ll provide that as well.

I would have preferred using the manual given to follow, so I could add my notes to each area as we worked through the course. Unfortunately all my notes are in the beginning of the book as we, only looked it once, when a student asked what page we were on.
