The Canadian Payroll Association (CPA)

The Canadian Payroll Association (CPA) is the national association representing the payroll community in Canada since 1978. The CPA is influential, affecting payroll practices in hundreds of thousands of small, medium and large employers, and payroll service and software providers. The CPA’s mission is Payroll Leadership through Advocacy and Education. We represent the interests of our members to federal and provincial government ministries, departments and agencies. The CPA proactively influences payroll-related legislation and policies to enable all stakeholders to administer them in an efficient and effective manner. The CPA delivers certification, professional development programs, and products and services to provide members with the ability to enhance payroll operations, meet new legislative requirements, address changing workplace needs, and utilize emerging technologies. The CPA is considered by the Canadian payroll community as the authoritative source of payroll knowledge.
