Attend this course if you want to:

Understand what data diagrams and PivotDiagrams are.

Understand what types of files can be used as a data source and how that data source must be set up.

Link a drawing to a data source.

Link information from the data source to the shapes in the drawing.

View the data linked to a shape.

Add data graphics to a shape (e.g., text callouts, data bars, and icons).

Change the color of shapes based on criteria for the data.

Refresh the data in a drawing.

Remove the link between a drawing and its data source.

Create a PivotDiagram.

Add and remove categories in a PivotDiagram.

Filter data in a PivotDiagram.

Pre-Requisites: Comfortable creating basic Visio drawings and adding and formatting shapes in a drawing. Note also that this course requires Visio 2007 Professional; the features taught in the course are not available in the Standard version of Visio.
