Technology Training Centre ~ Excel Word Training in Edmonton Cancellation Policy
Description: This course is designed for new Excel users who require the skills necessary to set up a spreadsheet and use basic business spreadsheet functions. Students will become familiar with the Excel 2007 program screen, Ribbon, Office Button, Quick Access toolbar as well as contextual menus and the Mini toolbar. Participants will learn worksheet basics including creating, saving and opening workbooks, and basic editing tools. This course will show students how to create simple formulas, use built in functions as well as an introduction to relative and absolute references. Participants will learn to manipulate windows for better viewing as well as work with cut/copy/paste features to move data, format their worksheet and prepare headers and footers for printing. Working with objects such as clip art, SmartArt and graphic objects will be introduced.
