Java runs on more than 850 million personal computers worldwide, and on billions of devices worldwide, including mobile and TV devices. There are lots of applications and websites that won't work unless you have Java installed, and more are created every day. Java has been tested, refined, extended, and proven by a dedicated community with more than 6.5 million developers. It's the largest and most active on the planet with its versatility, efficiency, and portability.
First day focuses on the Java Programming Language, Object Oriented Programming, Java Class Library. The Second day focuses on introducing Graphical User Interface and Database applications. There are two workshops on the two days for the concepts provided in this course. Topics covered include the Java programming language syntax, OO programming using Java, exception handling, file input/output, applets, and collection classes. Participants develop and test their Java applications (typically) using Netbeans IDE.
