This course is ideal for QA and QC personnel responsible for functional testing, as well as IT managers and developers responsible for the selection and evaluation of automated testing tools.

Course Outline
Testing tools alone will not successfully automate the testing process. What is required is an automated testing architecture, enabling the design of effective, reusable test scripts, maintenance of test data, and documentation on selecting the right techniques for each job.

This course is not a tutorial in any particular automation tool or framework. Rather, testers are introduced to several automated testing methodologies, including capture & playback, data-driven and keyword-driven testing. Students will see a set of best practices developed that can be applied to testing automation at all phases of the software lifecycle.
