In this workshop, students will learn how to create a source document, merge it with a letter, and then merge it with mailing labels.

Course Outline

Increase your understanding of Mail Merge to incorporate source documents into letters & labels. Students will learn how to create a source document, merge it with a letter, and then merge it with mailing labels. The second portion of this workshop introduces Word's "Track Changes" feature. Learn how to effectively use this editing and collaboration tool which makes sharing documents with others a breeze.

Pre-Requisites

Participants should be proficient in using a keyboard and a mouse, and should possess familiarity with a Windows operating system (e.g. folders, files, opening and saving documents, etc.).

Cancellation Policy

Participants who withdraw or fail to find a substitute less than 5 business days before the start of their course will be charged a fee based on the workshop duration as follows:
- $50 --- half-day workshop
- $100 --- one-day workshop
- $150 --- two-day workshop
Participants may withdraw or transfer to a different workshop 5 business days or more before the start of the workshop at no penalty. Individuals must notify the Centre for Continuing Education in writing to withdraw from a workshop.
Substitutions for a paid registration are welcome at anytime. The Centre for Continuing Education reserves the right to substitute qualified instructors due to unforeseen circumstances

For a basic introduction to Macros, this was a good session. Perhaps, the handouts could have included a link to a 'bible' of more advanced commands.
