Microsoft Project 2010 Level 2/Intermediate CCE-607

In this course, students will learn to use Microsoft Project to accomplish the tracking and reporting needed once a project is underway.

Course Outline

Level 2 is the second workshop in the Microsoft Project 2010 series. In Microsoft Project 2010: Level 1, participants created a complete project plan. This course will build upon that knowledge, and give individuals the opportunity to work with a project plan once it has entered the project implementation phase. Students will learn to use Microsoft Project to accomplish the tracking and reporting needed once a project is underway. Web pages, hyperlinks, custom reports and data export and import will enable students to track and keep the project team informed for single projects and for master project plans (for multiple projects).

Pre-Requisites

Participants should be proficient in using a keyboard and a mouse, and should possess familiarity with a Windows operating system (e.g. folders, files, opening and saving documents, etc.).

Cancellation Policy

Participants who withdraw or fail to find a substitute less than 5 business days before the start of their course will be charged a fee based on the workshop duration as follows:
- $50 --- half-day workshop
- $100 --- one-day workshop
- $150 --- two-day workshop
Participants may withdraw or transfer to a different workshop 5 business days or more before the start of the workshop at no penalty. Individuals must notify the Centre for Continuing Education in writing to withdraw from a workshop.
Substitutions for a paid registration are welcome at anytime. The Centre for Continuing Education reserves the right to substitute qualified instructors due to unforeseen circumstances

For a basic introduction to Macros, this was a good session. Perhaps, the handouts could have included a link to a 'bible' of more advanced commands.
