If you are part of a non-profit organization that needs to have a higher profile with the public, funders, clients, or volunteers, then this Marketing Forum is for you. It is open to employees, volunteers, and Board members. Our goal is to give you the information you need to make your organization better known in the community.
It's a learning event and a workshop combined into a practical day of useful ideas. In the morning session, we will present a primer on Marketing - what it is, what it isn't, and why it is crucial to your organization. Next comes a panel discussion and Q and A on branding, and making the best use of electronic, social, broadcast and print media. Panelists include: Daryl Woods, President of Public Image Design, Evan Carmichael, an on-line business strategy consultant, and Rob Young, VP, Director of Insights and Analytics, PHD Canada.
A buffet lunch and afternoon brainstorming session on best marketing practices will offer you a big bonus; time to network with colleagues you hardly ever get to see. You'll leave refreshed, energized, and armed with information you can put to use right away.
