You are familiar with the InDesign environment and managed text, tables, graphics, and colors in documents. You need to know the advanced features in InDesign to create catchy and attractive documents. In this course, you will use the advanced features in InDesign to create documents that are attractive and have the highest degree of perfection. The target student is any professional who would like to create and design print and web content. It may include graphic designers, creative professionals, print professionals, publishers, pre-press professionals, and marketing communications professionals.

Learning objectives: In this course, students will learn to use the power of Adobe In-Design to work more efficiently and add functionality to their work with many types of documents intended for both electronic distribution and high-quality printing.

Notice of cancellation must be received by CompuEase 5 working days prior to the confirmed date to obtain a full refund.

RESCHEDULING POLICY

Registrants who wish to reschedule their course may do so at least 5 working days before the commencement of their course providing the course fee is paid within 30 days following the originally scheduled date of the course. Otherwise, a 20% surcharge is applicable.

The course and the trainer met all of my expectations. The instructior was very knowledgeable and friendly. Once thing that I would like to suggest is for the provider to ensure that all participants are clearly notified not to wear scented products on the day of the training. Being in a small classroom space, surrounded by overpowering scents was very distracting and made it difficult to breathe.

The instructor easily adapted to special requests that were above and beyond what was listing in the course offering. A couple of us wanted to know more about MS Project 2010 and, when it was not at all inconvenient to the other participants, she walked us through some of the differences. This added a lot of value to the course. Her confidence with the material was contagious.

The only issue was the instructor, although EXTREMELY knowledgeable, didn't follow the Course Material at all. In fact I didn't even do a single exercise on the workstation. Essentially he used the White Board and showed examples (not in course material), and we discussed the nuances of "simple" SQL. Again, the instructor was extremely knowledgeable but there was absolutely no hands on (ie workstation etc)

Although the course information was relevant to the specific material - some basic Windows commands should not be necessary to be reiterated to students in class such as 'Cut and Paste' and 'Save File As'. This takes away valuable time to the specific subject course.

I was the only participant so received one on one training. With a group you usually do exercises from a workbook which would have been beneficial to me but that didn't happen with one on one training. I was shown how to do something and then asked to do it too rather than starting an exercise from scratch in a workbook and having to figure it out myself.

An excellent faclity located in the heart of downtown Ottawa. Friendly instructor and staff. As this was a one on one instructional situation, the instructor tailored the workshop to my needs. She covered every one of the twenty-two topics that I had requested and sent via email the week previous. I would recommend this school to anyone needing to learn or augment their computer skills.

Would have preferred some practical exercises with the instructor going around and seeing if we understood the training. eg. complete a travel claim sheet. There were only 5 participants to probably would have been a good time to wander around the class and see how we were doing. Difficult to see the screen, esp in the a.m. with the sun hitting it.

I had been using Word 2003 for several years. My software was recently upgraded to Word 2007. I found this course extremely interesting and useful for me. Sometimes, there are some really small tricks that can help immensely for our day-to-day work. The instructor was very knowledgeable and had a great personnality. The trainer mentioned that I could retake the course for free and that this is something that is normally offered there. I might do that because it was an off day for me. I was feeling tired and my concentration was a bit off. The trainer also was having an off day because of a back injury. I have taken training with Compuease before and I find it is a friendly environment and the trainers are excellent.
