Course Outline
The UC500 Management course will cover GUI based configuration of a pre-deployed UC500 via the Cisco Configuration Assistant v3.x. The student will customize a pre-deployed UC500 and understand how to manage, upgrade and customize a fully featured unit. We will discuss the features and benefits of the different phone models available from Cisco. We will cover off intermediate features like common firewall services, port security, hunt groups, etc. We will also focus on the advanced capabilities of the UC500 platform such as SSL VPN, Advanced Voice configurations, Auto Attendants, wireless, etc.

Prerequisites & Certificates
Pre-Requisites

It is suggested the students have a basic understanding of PBX or Key Telephony systems, voicemail and auto attendants and basic GUI and Windows knowledge. Students with no Cisco background will be successful with this course but may need to research some IT and Voice topics for more in depth understanding of the topics.

Cancellation notice of 10 (ten) business days is required to cancel a course without penalty. Cancellation of less than 10 (ten) business days prior to the start of the course or non-attendance will result in a charge of 100% of the course cost.
Group (Dedicated) Training: Cancellation notice of 15 (fifteen) days is required to cancel a private course without penalty. Cancellation of less than 15 (fifteen) days will result in a charge of 100% of the private training cost.

Substitutions of enrolled students in scheduled classes are permitted prior to the class start on the first day. ARP's choice of instructor for any course is subject to change.
