This course is intended for database users whose responsibility it is to enter, edit and retrieve data in an existing database. The course will show students how to enter and edit data in a more efficient manner by making use of some of the built-in MS Access functions such as input masks and validation rules. The course will also show the student some of the built-in filtering and sorting techniques which can facilitate data editing tasks. Further, it will show the student some on-the-fly techniques for generating rapid reports, including the use of summary operators for the extraction of statistics based on retrieved data.
