ACCPAC for Windows 5.5 (Thursdays)

In this course you will learn the widely-used accounting software package ACCPAC 5.5. The course will cover General Ledger Levels I and II, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Payroll.

Course Outline

In this course you will learn the widely-used accounting software package ACCPAC 5.5. The course will cover General Ledger Levels I and II, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Payroll.

Course Content: General Ledger — creating a GL, entering transactions and reports
General Ledger II — set up banking and tax programs with Systems Manager, how
to use Financial Reporter
Payroll — set up payroll options, earning and deduction codes, time cards, calculating
payroll, printing/posting register and cheques
Accounts Receivable — convert a manual system to ACCPAC’s AR system, invoice
entry, customer data, cash receipts, period-end entries
Accounts Payable - convert a manual system to ACCPAC’s payable system,
invoice entry, vendor data, payment controlling, cheque processing

Additional Details

Pre-Requisites

Passing a bookkeeping test and knowledge of Windows Textbook required for this course costs $100 and includes a training CD for practice at home

Certificates offered

Participants receive a certificate of completion

Cancellation Policy

If you have enrolled in a class, but later decide to cancel:

a) You will receive an 80% refund if you cancel more than five business days before the start of the class. The refund will be by cheque or will be reversed to your credit card.

b) You will receive no refund if you cancel five business days or less before the start of the class . We do not provide refunds if you stop attending the classes, or do not attend any classes .

c) If you decide to participate in a later session of the same program within 12 months we will re-enroll you in the next available class at no extra charge.

CLASS CANCELLATION POLICY
Skills for Change strives to hold classes as scheduled, however if low enrollment or other circumstances beyond our control occur, SfC reserves the right to cancel or reschedule classes five business days prior to its commencement date. (We will assume no responsibility for non-refundable airline tickets or other expenses that may be incurred due to cancellation).

I think the course should be 10 weeks a least not 7 weeks. Second opinion maybe a location near west around Wilson,Jane, Weston road. Parking space is a problem a night time. Thank You,

- classroom was a little too hot - vending machine out of order - instructor waited for tardy attendees/started late - would have prefered a longer duration (ie. once per week) for more practice - reception staff were friendly and helpful - facility
