CYBER WARFARE ROADSHOW 2010 - Morning Session

Course Outline

DEFILAIDE is proud to offer a series of ultra realistic, Cyber Warfare and incident response simulations including fully functional Internet, corporate LAN/WAN, datacentre and cloud computing environments. These simulations are used to enhance DEFILIADE’S current offering of best of breed security training courses as part of its proprietary Cyber Warfare security training program.

Working exclusively through our Global Alliance Training and Consulting Partners, we bring you inside the world of Cyber Warfare. You and your company will have an opportunity to experience first-hand the impact of the current Cyber War conflict. This free one day event, valued at over $900.00, will provide you with practical skills. Through our hands-on workshops you can practice your attack and counter attack skills in a live environment. You will be exposed to the real world of security threats where you can see the effects in real-time while having the attack vectors explained as it progresses.

PARTICIPANTS We are looking for highly skilled security “experts” who are willing to put their security expertise to the test in our proprietary Cyber Warfare simulated battlefield environment. You will be exposed to a host of attacks, so you must use your wits combined with the tools available, to protect your corporate assets. Whether you hold a CISSP, CISA, CEH, MCSE, GIAC, CCIE or any other security or non security related designation, you must attend to enhance and develop your skills.

OBSERVERS  If you do not wish to participate, you are welcome to attend and watch as we test our participant’s skills in our simulated battlefield. You will learn the anatomy of an attack and examine, in real time, the countermeasures used to defend a network resource. You will gain tremendous value as the attacks and counter attacks are fully dissected explained.

AGENDA

• Participants engaged in a series of eye-opening Cyber Warfare attacks in stand-alone and target-rich environments
• Observers will be given the opportunity to view these attacks in real-time
• Successful attacks will be fully narrated; broken down step-by-step, explaining not only how the target system was located, scanned and compromised; but also what countermeasures could have been employed to mitigate or completely eliminate the threat
• You will gain attacker level insight as to how computer systems are hacked, providing you and your company with the invaluable knowledge of how to securely deploy and defend your computing

We would have liked if the course covered Outlook as well as the other Office programs. In our first 2 online classes, there were problems with the audio and the teacher would sometimes cut out, or fast forward, and she could barely hear us at all so all quesitons had to be typed in the chat.
